Programs Overview
Princeton AlumniCorps brings together college alumni of all ages to participate in activities that benefit the public and raise individual civic engagement. Through our programs, we provide opportunities for alumni of all ages and institutions to put their passions to work in the public interest.
Fellowship Program
Princeton AlumniCorps' Project 55 Fellowship Program provides opportunities for recent Princeton graduates to develop a lifelong commitment to civic engagement and to prepare for effective civic leadership through year-long fellowships in nonprofit and community organizations. Alumni volunteers identify opportunities for fellows, provide training and support, and mentor fellows. Since 1990, Princeton Project 55 has placed more than 1,100 young Princetonians in summer or year-long positions of significant responsibility at more than 500 nonprofits across the country. Community Volunteers The Community Volunteers program is Princeton AlumniCorps newest venture. Through this initiative, we seek to connect Princeton alumni from the classes in the `60s, `70s, and `80s to civic engagement opportunities in the nonprofit sector. In our pilot year, the Community Volunteers program will launch two activities. The first activity is based in the Princeton area, working to connect teams of Princeton alumni volunteers to local nonprofits for short term projects. The second Community Volunteers activity is centered in Washington, DC, working to equip and connect alumni to nonprofit board service opportunities. Learn more.
The Alumni Network
Princeton AlumniCorps created The Alumni Network in the spirit of spreading AlumniCorps' model of alumni civic engagement. Through this initiative, AlumniCorps has partnered with alumni from Princeton and numerous other institutions to inspire, support, and share best practices with the goal of increasing the number and impact of alumni-driven public interest organizations.
