Guiding Philosophy

The Alumni Network was founded on the following premises:

• That college and university alumni are among the best educated, the most affluent, the most experienced, and the best connected citizens in the world
• That these alumni are well-positioned and indeed have the civic responsibility to utilize these assets to address the many systemic problems affecting societies at every level
• That alumni at many institutions have formed organizations to provide alumni, students, and others with the opportunity to fulfill the objectives set forth above and that the establishment of additional organizations with similar purposes can and will have a significant and beneficial impact in societies worldwide
